You'll be able to watch the pitstops but your ears will still hurt even with earplugs on. Other people choose to sit opposite the big screens to watch more of the action, or in the slower corners for overtaking and photographic opportunities.

I watch F1 since 1999 ( still can remember the battle between Ferrari and Mclaren)I was at Sepang in 2000 and 2003. This street race will come as a relief, especially if you've had to sit through the traffic jam after the race.
